Pupil Voice on Catholic Life at St Patricks
St Patricks are on a Mission!
We asked the wonderful children of St Patrick's School how they were living our school mission every day...

Mini Vinnies
Our Mini Vinnie group are made up of Year 5 and 6 children of all faiths and backgrounds. They meet with a common goal: to serve and help others.
I'm a Mini Vinnie because I like helping others and living out God's message.
Recently, they made gift packs for our wonderful teaching Assistants to say thankyou for all they do! These were very gratefully received.
In October, they held a Coffee Afternoon in aid of the Forget Me Not Children's Hospice.
We chose the Forget Me Not Charity because it helps children in hospital who are ill or sad and it helps to make their day.

Bright Lights
Our Bright Lights represent every class in school and were nominated by their teachers to shine their faith brightly for all to see. They help us to spread the Mission and to support Celebration of the Word within the classes.
KS2 Bright Lights helped to make baskets of Disciple figures for KS1. We want them to know that Jesus is their friend.
Bright Lights
Our KS1 Bright Lights proudly made bags of objects that could be used for prayer: we were creative with pebbles, ribbons and torches. Each object could be used as a symbol to help others engage in Celebration of the Word. Hear what they had to say below!

Ludo serenading Mary during the month of October with a new song he learned on his violin. He wanted to do something special as a Bright Light. Mini Vinnies decorate the outdoor sheds as 'Holy Sheds' at special times of the year and in October, we especially remember Mary. |
