St Patrick's Catholic Primary Academy

"Empowering and inspiring all children to become life-long learners"

We are proud to work with all the Catholic schools across our two local authority areas, particularly as the Trust grows and benefits from the expertise and knowledge that other schools joining in the future will bring.

Year 1

Miss Amin and Mrs Rhodes

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.”
Matthew 5:9

In Year 1, we teach others about being peacemakers.  We are learning how to be kind and sharing friends and we know that it makes Jesus happy when we are a friend to others, because he is our friend too.

Morning Offering

Father in Heaven You love me

You’re with me night and day

I want to love You always

In all I do and say

I’ll try to please You Father

Bless me through the day

Amen

Prayer at End of Day

God our Father,

I’ve come to say

Thankyou for Your love today

Thankyou for my family and all the friends You give to me

Guard me in the dark of night and in the morning send Your light.

Jesus, Mary and Joseph, take me safely home.

Thankyou God for a happy day in school

Amen

The Lord's Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven,

hallowed be thy name;

Thy kingdom come;

Thy will be done on earth,

as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread;

and forgive us our trespasses,

as we forgive those who trespass against us;

and lead us not into temptation,

but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

The Hail Mary

Hail Mary, full of grace,

the Lord is with thee;

Blessed art thou among women,

and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God,

pray for us sinners,

now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.
