"Christ in Our Hearts and Minds"

We are proud to work with all the Catholic schools across our two local authority areas, particularly as the Trust grows and benefits from the expertise and knowledge that other schools joining in the future will bring.

Living Our Mission: April Highlights

With Christ in our Hearts and Minds, we celebrate the joy of Easter and the risen Lord!

Welcoming All Saints Catholic College to join our Mission!

All Saints are so kind in often inviting us to Chaplaincy events, and we were pleased to return the favour and invite past pupils to join us in ours!  Our Bright Lights organised activities to focus on the different types of prayer and school was a hive of activity across lunchtime: singing, games, reflection - all kinds of praise to God!

Easter Stay, Play and Pray!

Families are invited to attend Mission after school on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday for a family craft session (and refreshments!)  We are focusing on celebrating the love we have for each other.

'Love one another as I have loved you.'

 John 13: 34

Easter Celebrations

Join us at 9:30am on Friday 17th April, Friday 24th April and Friday 1st May to see Years 2, 1 and EYFS retell the Easter story and share how the new life around us at Spring time reminds us of God's love for us.

Year 2 Putting Mission into Action

Year 2's Celebration of the Word taught everyone to spread the joy of the Easter message and they put that straight into action!  The children decorated the KS1 playground with symbols of Easter and the Resurrection, and signed their names on the chalk cross to bear witness to their work.

Year 2 Easter Mission

With Christ in Our Hearts and Minds we are Kind and Respectful to Everyone!

We took some time over our Mission Control Lunchtimes to learn about the Sikh festival of Vaisakhi - finding out about the 5 Ks and how they were established during this festival.

Year 5 also visited our local Hindu temple to find out more about other faiths.  St Patrick's is proud to be a Catholic school and we know it is important to have respect and understanding of others - just like Jesus would have wanted us to do.

Reflection

With Christ always in our hearts and minds, we continue on our mission:

Help us to serve others with love and patience;
To face challenges with resilience and faith;
To always love learning;
To be kind and respectful to others.
To contribute to a better world for all.
Jesus said; “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?”
John 11:25-26
